Study of the effects of BGP hijack and man in the middle attacks on the IOTA Distributed Ledger. The work focuses on the number of possible Border Gateway Protocol hijack attacks on the IOTA tangle and on the variation of transaction confirmation times during the execution of man in the middle attacks, in particular delay and drop attacks. Grouping for Autonomous Systems and representation of the global distribution of IOTA full nodes. Implementation of all necessary scripts in Python language.
