In the wake of the successfully studies reported in the literature about the NHC complexes interesting stability and antiproliferative activity, and about the Pt(II) triphenylphosphine ligand complexes cytotoxic activity, this work wants to synthetize new platinum complexes with the phosphine ligand and the carbene ligand, to verify these complexes stability and their possible antiproliferative activity, hoping that the single results seen for the NHC complexes and the Pt-phosphine ligand complexes can have a synergic effect for both NHC and both PPh3 ligand complexes.
