Tesi sperimentale con studio prospettico di 55 pazienti in un pronto soccorso periferico dell’ usl Toscana nord ovest in questo studio abbiamo analizzato l’efficacia e la specificità di una metodica semplice a basso costo quale l’ecografia polmonare eseguita al tempo zero (ingresso) ed in tempi successivi fino alla dimissione.
Nello studio si evidenzia una correlazione diretta tra LUS score iniziale e stato di congestione del paziente e titolando la dose di diuretico sulla base dei dati evinti si è assistito ad un netto miglioramento. Stesso di scorso è stato fatto con il valore clinico del BNP senza ottenere stessa relazione diretta.

Experimental thesis with a prospective study of 55 patients in a peripheral emergency room in the north-west Tuscany local health authority. In this study we analyzed the effectiveness and specificity of a simple, low-cost method such as lung ultrasound performed at time zero (entry) and at subsequent times until discharge.
The study highlights a direct correlation between the initial LUS score and the patient's congestion status and by titrating the diuretic dose on the basis of the data obtained, there was a clear improvement. The same thing as before was done with the clinical value of BNP without obtaining the same direct relationship.
