Riassunto
The present work is aimed at developing a passive methods of flow control to delay/avoid flow separation in adverse pressure gradients on a bluff-body.
Both numerical and experimental investigations are carried out to assess the effectiveness of the flow control method, which consists in the introduction of contoured transverse grooves on the lateral surface of the body.
