The aim of this work of thesis is to realize a simulation software for a Regional Turboprop Aircraft which is able to give as outputs the time history of the main interesting flight envelope values.
The software uses the programming language Matlab and with the platform Simulink it is possible to reproduce the Dynamics of the Aircraft (Open-loop system). This platform allows to model the system by connecting different blocks within which the necessary laws of the flight dynamics are implemented.
The main goal is to realize the right control laws (Closed-loop system) , which are in terms of autopilot controllers, in order to make the aircraft a pre-established mission. The mission is designed in the Flight Management System (FMS), which gives as outputs the wanted height, covered distance and heading of the trajectory that the aircraft has to perform.
Last but not least, the FMS is able to activate and deactivate the different autopilots in order to use the most suitable control system over the entire mission.
