Response of Fricke gel dosimeter at variable magnetic field-intensity<br>The last decades have seen rapid technological developments in the field of radiotherapy. Treatment<br>planning systems and radiation dose delivery are becoming increasingly complex with the emphasis on<br>precise definition of the target and highly sculpted dose distribution to spare nearby sensitive tissues.<br>Polymer and Fricke gels, measured by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), are arguably the most promising<br>development in 3D dosimetry. The present work inquires Fricke gel response at variable magnetic fieldintensity.<br>The aim is establishing the optimal scanner to use in clinical practice in order to read out the<br>Fricke gels.
