Riassunto
Active Rear Steering (ARS) is an interesting vehicle dynamics technology which allows real time changing of the vehicle oversteering and understeering characteristics. This work will study the design problem for the high level vehicle oriented software related to ARS actuator; it will start from a previous thesis on this topic whose main outcome was the oversteer controller and will extend it with additional design contents for typical customer features, like understeer support, low speed cornering radius reduction and parking aid.
The work will be based on VeDyna vehicle simulation package and will target a C-D class vehicle.
