Riassunto
The development of satellites in LEO for geo-location purposes is very recent for industrial, military and rescue purposes. These make it possible to locate radiofrequency emitters through different methodologies than satellite constellations. The aim of this dissertation is to simulate through a MATLAB algorithm the environment composed by a satellite and several static emitters on the earth’s surface. These emitters are localized by processing the incoming signal to the satellite in order to be able to effectively evaluate the geo-location algorithm developed by the M.B.I. company. The relative position, velocity and acceleration between satellite and transmitter are generated at intervals and then fed into the evaluating algorithm and assess its limits in different condition.
