Summary
Non Thyroidal Illness Syndrome (NTIS) refers to a condition found in seriously ill or starving patients with low fT3, usually elevated RT3, normal or low TSH, and, if prolonged, low fT4. NTIS is a common disorder in the hospitalized older people and its prevalence increases with increasing age regardless the pathogen implied. This study aims to identify through machine learing analisys "Comorbidity-Cluster-Based" phenotypes associated with negative medium/long-term outcomes.
