La seguente tesi di laurea presenta una proposta di traduzione del saggio Comprendre pourquoi on ne se comprend pas di Éric Dacheux, pedagogo e professore presso l'Università Clermont-Auvergne. Il lavoro è inoltre accompagnato da un commento linguistico-traduttologico. Il primo capitolo presenta la seguente struttura: nella prima sezione, analizzeremo le peculiarità del testo scientifico e del saggio. Questa prima analisi si rivela essenziale, poiché, come vedremo in seguito, tradurre Comprendre pourquoi on ne se comprend pas richiede l’applicazione di diverse strategie traduttive, da quelle tipiche della traduzione letteraria a quelle proprie della traduzione specialistica. Nel secondo capitolo, intraprenderemo un approfondimento teorico delle teorie traduttologiche che hanno guidato le nostre scelte traduttive. Inizieremo dalla dualità concettuale tra approccio sourcier(orientato alla fonte) e cibliste(orientato al prodotto). In seguito, ci concentreremo sul principio di “equivalenza formale” formulato da Nida e sulle teorie traduttologiche che hanno guidato le nostre scelte traduttive. Il terzo capitolo è dedicato alle metodologie. Nel quarto capitolo del nostro lavoro forniamo un'analisi linguistica e traduttologica della nostra proposta di traduzione, iniziando esaminando le operazioni principali utilizzate durante il processo traduttivo. / The following thesis presents a translation proposal of the essay "Comprendre pourquoi on ne se comprend pas" by Éric Dacheux, a pedagogue and professor at the University of Clermont-Auvergne. The work is also accompanied by a linguistic and translation commentary. The first chapter has the following structure: in the first section, we will analyze the peculiarities of scientific texts and essays. This initial analysis is crucial because, as we will see later, translating "Comprendre pourquoi on ne se comprend pas" requires the application of various translation strategies, ranging from those typical of literary translation to those specific to specialized translation. In the second chapter, we will delve into the theoretical foundations of translation theories that have guided our translation choices. We will begin with the conceptual duality between the source-oriented and target-oriented approaches. Then, we will focus on the principle of "formal equivalence" formulated by Nida and the translation theories that have guided our translation choices. The third chapter is dedicated to the approaches that we have chosen, the final chapter is about a linguistic and translation analysis of our translation proposal, starting by examining the main operations used during the translation process.
