IT: A seguito dell’esperienza maturata all’interno di una azienda di consulenza operante nel settore dell’Information Technology, andremo ad approfondire le diverse tipologie di consulting esistenti e come mai il loro impiego sia via via sempre più richiesto da moltissimi business appartenenti ai più svariati ambienti. Studieremo in seguito le metodologie e le best practices che normalmente vengono coinvolte per la creazione di una progettualità di Business Intelligence, quali sono i principali approcci con il cliente, le proposte, le risorse, la valutazione delle tempistiche di realizzazione fino ad arrivare alla composizione vera e propria di un progetto, il suo rilascio e il finale supporto che il professionista dovrà dare all’utente finale. Analizzeremo le potenzialità e gli utilizzi dei tool Qlik Sense ed NPrinting (appartenenti entrambi all’azienda Qlik) che sono stati adoperati durante tutto il percorso formativo, portando in esame un caso reale: visioneremo la testimonianza di un business che detiene problemi e metodologie ormai non più consone con gli standard attuali, che ha intenzione di affacciarsi al cambiamento partendo soprattutto da un approccio data-driven. Approfondiremo come sono stati raccolti i requisiti e le principali difficoltà insorte, le richieste degli utenti e le nostre proposte, concentrandoci infine sulla parte applicativa. In particolar modo verrà generata una applicazione principale di aiuto decisionale connessa ai prodotti dell’azienda, ai clienti e ai negozi nella quale la merce viene venduta, focalizzandoci sulla parte di Extract – Trasformation – Load e su quella visiva; verrà inoltre presentato un glossario che avrà lo scopo di contenere le informazioni tecniche più importanti appartenenti a tutte le App del sistema e infine avverrà la realizzazione di reportistica sfruttando i dati da noi elaborati.
Per finire si evidenzieranno i pro e i contro che questa esperienza ha generato: le principali conoscenze assorbite, le problematiche riscontrate e che ogni consulente finirà per incappare prima o poi nel corso del suo percorso lavorativo, i benefici che una azienda così strutturata è in grado di apportare, non solo ai propri clienti ma ai dipendenti tutti.

EN: Following the experience gained within a consulting company operating in the field of Information Technology, we will deepen the different types of consulting existing and why their use is increasingly required by many businesses belonging to the most varied environments.
We will then study the methodologies and best practices that are normally involved in the creation of a Business Intelligence project, which are the main approaches with the customer, proposals, resources, the evaluation of the timing of realization up to the actual composition of a project, its release and the final support that the professional must give to the final user.
We will analyze the potential and uses of the tools Qlik Sense and NPrinting (both belonging to the company Qlik) that have been used throughout the training, examining a real case: We will see the testimony of a business that has problems and methodologies no longer consonant with current standards, which intends to face change starting above all from a data-driven approach. We will investigate how the requirements and the main difficulties have been collected, the requests of users and our proposals, finally focusing on the application part.
In particular, it will generate a main application of decision-making aid related to the company’s products, customers and shops in which the goods are sold, focusing on the part of Extract - Trasformation - Load and on the visual one; A Glossary will also be presented that will aim to contain the most important technical information pertaining to all the Apps of the system and finally will be the realization of reporting using the data we processed.
Finally, we will highlight the pros and cons that this experience has generated: the main knowledge absorbed, the problems encountered and that each consultant will eventually stumble sooner or later in the course of his career, the benefits that such a structured company is able to bring, not only to its customers but to all employees.
