The MSc Thesis deals with the analysis of inductance gradient parameters in a<br>multiple shot launcher named SR\3-60, property of the French-German Research<br>Institute of Saint-Louis (ISL), France. In order to reach a deeper knowledge in this<br>topic a circuital model has been developed, involving both the self-inductance of<br>a launcher and the mutual coupling between them; later, the equations found have<br>been implemented in a Simulink blocks model. What figured out from the analytical<br>study helped understanding the behavior of inductance parameters and designing a<br>static experiment to calculate them as functions of frequency and armature position<br>along the device. These data have been compared with analytical calculation using<br>the Partial Element Method (PEM) as well as with theoretical forecasts. Some studies<br>have been conducted also on dynamic shot experiments, focusing on the measurement<br>setup and on the inductance gradients as well, always with attention to the<br>metrological aspects.<br>Moreover, possibilities of further studies and improvements on the thesis line have<br>been highlighted.
