Riassunto
Il lavoro di tesi si occupa di verificare la fattibilità di un convertitore dc dc a condensatori commutati per applicazioni automotive.
This thesis is part of the European Project ATHNEIS3D. In this work a Switched Capacitor DC-DC
converter to interface the new 48V battery standard for automotive applications has been designed
and verified. The converter has been modelled using Simulink and a test bench has been performed
to choose the best control strategy. The converter has been designed in order to allow its 3D
integration by using Through Silicon Vias and Wafer Level Packaging technologies. Cadence
Virtuoso has been used to implement the converter in ams HV350nm CMOS technology. Finally, a
simulation of the schematic has been performed and the results have been compared to the model
simulation's results.
