Riassunto
The produced work provides an overview of the IoT technologies with a special focus on the embedded systems and hardware components by which are composed and the Swerial Wire Debug protocol.
Subsequently is analyzed the UDOO KEY, a custom board which allows to combine two different microcontrollers together, namely the ESP32 and RP2040.
For the ESP32 hosted on this board, has been developed an implementation of the SWD protocol to remotely control execution status of RP2040 MCU and eventually perform debug sessions.
Finally are presented uses cases in which such solution can be deployed.
