Riassunto
Il seguente elaborato ha come oggetto di studio la realizzazione della fase di analisi, propedeutica per l’introduzione di un sistema ERP, all’interno di una realtà aziendale. Il lavoro è stato svolto durante un tirocinio in una azienda di consulenza informatica, ovvero Var Group S.p.A., system integrator di riferimento nel panorama nazionale italiano.
Nel primo capitolo ci si focalizzerà sul contesto nel quale ha avuto spazio tale progetto: passeremo in rassegna la realtà aziendale, il sistema implementato, la metodologia di lavoro ed infine la posizione da me ricoperta.
Successivamente, proseguiremo con una panoramica grandangolo del progetto di introduzione: presenteremo il cliente, i suoi processi ed i suoi sistemi attualmente in uso. Procederemo selezionando le aree che dovranno essere transite nel nuovo sistema e definendo le strategie da adottare alla base dell’implementazione ventura.
Una volta fatto ciò, ci si soffermerà più nel dettaglio sulla analisi e mappatura delle fasi che mi hanno visto coinvolto in prima persona nella mia esperienza di tirocinio, ovvero quelle inerenti al ciclo attivo e al ciclo passivo. Tale mappatura seguirà un approccio AS IS – TO BE: dopo aver esaminato le modalità con cui il cliente svolge attualmente il proprio lavoro, si andrà a valutare se si è in grado o meno di coprire tali funzionalità con il nuovo applicativo che verrà adottato. Laddove questo non sarà possibile, verrà individuato un apposito sviluppo da realizzare. Nel corso del paragrafo saranno usati strumenti propri del project management e sarà seguita la best practice di riferimento della azienda fornitrice del servizio.
Nell’ultimo capitolo andremo a consuntivare tutti gli scostamenti presenti tra i processi attualmente in auge e lo standard fornito dal sistema ERP, valorizzandoli con giornate lavorative di sviluppo che saranno necessarie a coprirli. A conclusione del lavoro, tali scostamenti individuati verranno, insieme ad altri parametri, valutati e verrà effettuata una analisi del rischio del progetto, volta a stabilire se sussistono o meno le condizioni per portare avanti la realizzazione dello stesso e, in caso affermativo, quale dovrà essere lo schedule da seguire.


Summary
The following paper has as its object of study the realization of the analysis phase, preparatory for the introduction of an ERP system, within a company. The work was carried out during an internship in an IT consulting company, i.e. Var Group S.p.A., a reference system integrator in the Italian national scene.
In the first chapter we will focus on the context in which this project took place: we will review the company reality, the system implemented, the working methodology and finally the position I held.
Next, we will continue with a wide-angle overview of the introduction project: we will present the customer, his processes and systems currently in use. We will proceed by selecting the areas that will have to pass through the new system and defining the strategies to be adopted at the basis of the future implementation.
Once this is done, we will focus in more detail on the analysis and mapping of the phases that saw me personally involved in my internship experience, namely those inherent to the active cycle and the passive cycle. This mapping will follow an AS IS - TO BE approach: after examining the ways in which the customer currently carries out their work, we will evaluate whether or not they are able to cover these functions with the new application that will be adopted. Where this is not possible, a specific development will be identified to be carried out. In the course of the paragraph, project management tools will be used and the reference best practice of the company providing the service will be followed.
In the last chapter we will review all the differences between the processes currently in vogue and the standard provided by the ERP system, enhancing them with development working days that will be necessary to cover them. At the end of the work, these identified deviations will be, together with other parameters, evaluated and a risk analysis of the project will be carried out, aimed at establishing whether or not the conditions exist to carry out the realization of the same and, if so, which one should be the schedule to follow.
