Il tema della tesi è una proposta di riqualificazione e di recupero della Rocca di San Paolino in Ripafratta, appartenente al territorio del comune di San Giuliano Terme. La finalità di questo progetto è volta alla conservazione della testimonianza storica, mettendone in luce la sua identità, valorizzandone i suoi caratteri paesaggistici, e consentendone una adeguata fruizione. I temi chiave che hanno guidato la proposta progettuale sono legati all’ ottimizzazione della fruibilità e dell’accessibilità attraverso degli interventi, in chiave moderna, che rispettino la conformità del luogo.

The theme of the thesis is a proposal for redevelopment and recovery of the Rocca di San Paolino in Ripafratta, belonging to the territory of the municipality of San Giuliano Terme. The purpose of this project is to preserve the historical testimony, highlighting its identity, enhancing its landscape characteristics, and allowing a proper use. The key themes that have guided the project proposal are linked to the optimization of usability and accessibility through interventions, in a modern key, that respect the conformity of the place.
