Riassunto
Hybrid systems consist of integrated solutions that can use renewable energy sources as well as the fossil ones in order to cover both the space heating/cooling and domestic hot water demand of a building. This thesis summarises a series of laboratory tests carried out at the Institute for Renewable Energy of EURAC Research, aimed for the commissioning of a hydraulic module prototype and to assess the performance of a whole solar heat pump system in which this hydraulic module can be integrated usefully.
Referring to the hydraulic module, the thesis reports the results of its thermal characterisation and the solutions proposed to improve its measurement of the fluid temperature, volumetric flow rate and thermal power. Regarding the whole hybrid system, it is shown the method adopted to reproduce close-to-reality boundary conditions in the laboratory and the results of a Short Dynamic Test sequence that give in-depth information about the behaviour of the tested system and its components.
