The main objective was to reduce to a minimum the maintenance failure, in favor of preventive and predictive maintenance, all in a Lean Maintenance / TPM point of view.
In the first part of the paper there will be the analysis of every tools put in place to achieve the first part of the objective: it will be shown the failure analysis and corrective actions put in place in order to eliminate the causes of the failures and the tools put in place for the improvement of the software management failure requests . In the second part instead, it will be analyzing the improvements in the management of preventive maintenance and the introduction of a new tool for predictive maintenance. In the third part it will be presented the 5 S method applied to spare part management and some of the Lean tools used as support for maintenance team continuous improvement.
Finally, in the last part, it will be list all the results achieved, summarized in the reduction of waste and of all operations with no added value for the company, with the consequence of improving maintenance performance and decreasing maintenance costs.
