Riassunto
Designing a tube specimen with an overlapping area in which the adhesive is applied. This geometry creates a challenge to get reproducible connections between the steel and the adhesive on the complete circumference.
In order to achieve a valid test specimen, the specimen geometry together with the positioning device and the application of the adhesive have to be considered, designed and planed.
A finite-element model of the specimen will be created to verify the design and the test results.
After the construction of the positioning device, specimens will be produced (manufacturing of tubes, application of the adhesive, curing in oven) in the developed application process and tested.
