Riassunto
This thesis has the main objective of sharing the positive relationship between corporate and professional training and productivity.
Human resource management practices are identified as a source of competitive advantage.
The resource based view approach, the results of the Hawthorne experiment, the motivational theories represent the starting point for others studies on strategic human resource management practices: High Performance Work System ( HPWS).
This work shows the complexity of human capital and explains the training and learning process.
Developing human capital through training turns out to be a solution to improve productivity and competitiveness despite the current conditions that represent the (mercato di sbocco: market) and the labor market in which companies are protagonists.
The markets are complex, ambiguous, require continuous adaptation and are influenced by global and technological factors.
The labor market is characterized by imperfections such as information asymmetries, free riding and after the pandemic experience it is facing greater challenges such as the phenomenon of Great Resignation which lead companies to face high turnover rates which negatively affect their productivity,
Tourism is taken into consideration in this paper for two reasons, One derives from the desire to bring back the curricular internship experience carried out at CHG, a management company founded in 2009 which has established itself in this sector both at Tuscan and national level, while the other reason is that this sector, although internally varied and differentiated, brings together operators by carrying out activities that have a high interactive content and human resources play a central role.
