I livelli di gamma-glutamil transpeptidasi (GGT) sono un marker di rischio indipendente per lo sviluppo del diabete di tipo 2 (T2DM). Abbiamo indagato la relazione tra le frazioni di GGT sierica recentemente individuate ed il metabolismo del glucosio in pazienti obesi affetti da diabete di tipo 2, prima e dopo la chirurgia bariatrica.
