Riassunto
A six months activity has been performed in the Labotatoire d'études des Transferts et Mécanique des Fluides in CEA Saclay.

The first part of the work is on TONUS code. In the general aim of a reverification of code models to improve code's documentation a verification of the CONDENS procedure is done.Various condensation data bases are taken in account using integral values (total heat flux, condensation flow rate). The new CHIL1 diffusive model of TONUS code is tested and results are compared to the old one.

The second part of the work is on CAST3M code. It is devoted to the verification of the new low Mach number asymptotic compressible solver. Since this solver is new, thermal hydraulic model had to be tested against an analytical solution for a laminar boundary layer: a solution is obtained in a 2D test case by integrating the balance equations through an iterative method; then a CFD simulation of the case is done using the CAST3M solver. Good results are achieved in the comparison with the analytical model. More comparison is done with satisfactory agreement against correlations available in literature for boundary layer thickness.
