The creation, development, simulation and the real-time implementation of real physical system has destinations in many different fields and has led a success of techniques such as hardware-in-the-loop.<br>In the relation, the control of the electric machines is addressed in the simulative and practical part, so in the software and hardware aspect.<br>These controls are initially focused on a direct current motor and subsequently on a brushless motor. This approach is given by the simplicity of the mathematical model of the direct current motor and also the development of the controls is faced with increasing difficulty.<br>The objectives are reached step by step, in a logical chain that starts from the theory to the physical system.<br>• Study and modelling of electrical motors.<br>• Study, modelling and design of different control strategies.<br>• Simulations of electric drives and Real-Time-Interface, hardware implementation.<br>Specifically, the real work of the thesis can be summarize in the following points:<br>• Model-in-the-loop.<br>• Software-in-the-loop.<br>• Processor-in-the-loop.<br>• Hardware-in-the-loop.
