Summary
Biodegradable copolyesters at two different concentrations of L-Lactic Acid and Caprolactone were synthesized, using two different inorganic catalysts and an organic catalyst. Bionanocomposites were obtained dispersing cellulose nanowhiskers in the copolymer matrix. The thermal and degradative properties of the obtained nanocomposites were studied. Nanocomposites obtained by the dispersion of cellulose nanowhiskers in a polylactic acid matrix were used to obtain different scaffold by computer assisted wet spinning. The morphology of the obtained scaffolds and the dispersion of the cellulose nanowhiskers in the scaffolds wer studied by scanning electron microscopy
