Riassunto
1) the dynamic model of a vehicle is built using Featherstone's articulated body algorithm;
2) the model is implemented in Simulink (MATLAB) for simulation;
3) the optimization of the minimum lap-time achievable with the given vehicle on a given 3D track is formulated as an optimal control problem;
4) the optimal control problem is solved using the optimization tool CasADi (MATLAB).
