Il superbonus 110% è stato introdotto in Italia nel maggio del 2020 dal Governo Conte. Si tratta di un'agevolazione fiscale pari al 110% per i lavori effettuati aventi come scopo l'efficientamento energetico degli edifici. Il superbonus 110% aveva l'obiettivo di rilanciare l'economia italiana pesantemente colpita dalla pandemia da Covid-19, riattivare il settore edilizio, efficientare dal punto di vista energetico gli edifici e continuare sulla strada della transizione energetica incentivando l'installazione di pannelli fotovoltaici. Nonostante i buoni propositi, il provvedimento ha fatto riscontrare alcune criticità rilevanti causate soprattutto da un quadro normativo non chiaro, instabile e confuso. Inoltre la misura è diventata uno strumento di scontro politico andando così a perdere di vista i reali obiettivi per i quali il provvedimento era nato.
