Riassunto
Parsifal is a box-wing aircraft with redundant control surfaces that is expected to save fuel during cruise and, making use of the Direct Lift Control, it can perform maneuveurs that other aircraft can't, such as the vertical slide.
The aircraft needed a reliable control system to substitute to the pre-existing PID controls and for this reason Incremental Control Allocation was introduced.
The thesis is focused on the development and test of different versions of such algorithm. The implementation in the aircraft Parsifal showed optimal results in aircraft stability and control.
It follows an extensive description of the software implemented (in Matlab and Simulnk) and an installation guide of the controller block inside any aircraft dynamic system.
