Summary
The "Household, Housing, Habitat" research project was carried out by means of a research program in the national interest, the first results were presented in Rome in June 2005. The survey, which was aimed at a population total of 1820 residents in Tuscany, Puglia and Sicily, it is proposed to study the relationship between the dynamics of the family and the individual, the living arrangements and their effects on urban and environmental transformation. The survey is divided into three main sections: the TRIBIO section, the SPUT section and the HABB section. Using data collected from the section HABB, I tried to expand the analysis on the trends and relationships between variables that bind or not the individual in its territory and to your home. To reach this goal I used as tools of analysis pivot tables and logistic regressions. I was able to ascertain that the emotional bonds between people and the land are strong at the national level and on a strictly local level and who are the family and our house the main factors that can give birth to a feeling of belonging to our territory, not instead the job. I have also been able to detect that there is a higher propensity to move house by those who are single, living in apartments, living in rented accommodation and who live in urban areas. I could also say that, in my opinion, the semi-urban area may be referred to as the portrait of the ideal dimension in which to live as it gathers in itself the security features and tranquility, judged by the subjects as the most important, and offers the most all the services and comforts that can offer the big city.
