Summary
The aim of this project is to compare the performance obtained using different network communication techniques in the interaction between applications running on different containers. Specifically, the communication that will be monitored is that which takes place during a session of the SIP protocol between the Kamailio server and the MySQL server, the latter used to maintain subscribers. Both will be launched on different containers and several tests will be performed using the Sipp client running on the physical host. The communication will first take place through Unix and TCP sockets, and then compare their results with those obtained using DPDK.
