Il lavoro esplora il potenziale teorico e pratico delle Animal–Nature Based Solutions (A-NBS), interventi che coinvolgono attivamente gli animali per generare benefici ambientali, sociali ed economici, soprattutto nei contesti urbani. La tesi analizza due casi applicativi, tra cui il progetto IN-HABIT a Lucca e la Fattoria Zooantropologica dell’ASL Napoli 1 evidenziando il contributo innovativo delle A-NBS per le città del futuro, mostrando come tali pratiche si integrino con IAA, Agricoltura Sociale e i principi della New European Bauhaus.
The work explores the theoretical and practical potential of Animal–Nature Based Solutions (A-NBS), interventions that actively involve animals to generate environmental, social, and economic benefits, particularly in urban contexts. The thesis examines two applied cases, including the IN-HABIT project in Lucca and the Zooanthropological Farm of ASL Napoli 1, highlighting the innovative contribution of A-NBS to the cities of the future and showing how these practices integrate with AAI, Social Farming, and the principles of the New European Bauhaus.
