The thesis describes Business Intelligence governance and Data Warehousing activities in Kering, fashion luxury goods holding. Specifically, it reports on the implementation of Infocatalog (Information Governance Tool), whose goal is to provide insight about all of the business information at the Kering’s brands and to facilitate the understanding relationship between data warehouse entities. This leads developers to perform extract, transforms and load process straightforwardly and also helps analysts to create business reports more precisely and fastly.
After the presentation of industrial context, the thesis covers the introduction of Infocatalog , the technical modeling of data warehouse and source systems, the extract, transform and load process of a business dimension and the description of development tools used and of the reporting systems delivered.
