Lo scopo di questa tesi è quello di portare a termine un’analisi relativa alla realizzazione di banco prova per applicazione turbocompound elettrico. Ci si propone di evidenziare i problemi connessi alla realizzazione del suddetto banco, e di proporre, soluzioni realizzative adeguate.
Il banco prova deve garantire la possibilità di testare il motore elettrico accoppiato sia alla girante della turbina, sia a quella del compressore, tramite un giunto magnetico.
Verranno analizzate le criticità relative a questo accoppiamento di tipo magnetico e presentate le soluzioni costruttive per il progetto del banco.

The purpose of this degree thesis is to make an analysis about the construction of a test bench for electric turbocompound application.
It is proposed to highlight the problems connected to the realization of the aforementioned bench and to proposing appropriate implementation solution.
The test bench has the function to support a test in which an electric motor is connected to a turbine impeller and to a compressor impeller through a magnetic joint. Will be analysed the criticality about the connection through a magnetic joint and will be suggest construction solutions for the design of the bench test.
