This thesis deals with problems related to the estimation of on-street parking availability in an urban area for forecasting purposes. Geometrical methodologies have been used to associate parking lots with zones or street segments. Furthermore, the conception and implementation of an algorithm which distributes parking transactions into each street segment of the city is presented and time series modelling is applied.
