Il principale obiettivo di questa tesi consiste nell'illustrare ed esporre in modo quanto più comprensibile possibile le teorie di Hyman P. Minsky, il cui contributo economico si è incentrato prevalentemente sulla comprensione dell'instabilità finanziaria, alla luce delle numerose e recenti crisi che hanno perturbato la stabilità dei mercati finanziari, dalla grande crisi del 1929 fino alla più recente crisi dei mutui subprime del 2007.

The main purpose of this thesis is to illustrate and expose in the most understandable way possible the theories of Hyman P. Minsky, whose economic contribution has mainly focused on the understanding of financial instability, in the light of the numerous and recent crises that have disrupted the stability of financial markets, from the great crisis of 1929 to the most recent subprime mortgage crisis of 2007.
