La recente scoperta della necropoli a incinerazione di Parrana San Martino, nel comune di Collesalvetti, contirbuisce in modo significativo alla conoscenza del periodo di transizione fra il bronzo finale e il primo ferro. Questo studio costituisce un primo tentativo di collocazione temporale e di contestualizzazione culturale della necropoli attraverso lo studio di alcuni tra i contesti tombali più significativi.
The recent discovery of the incineration necropolis of Parrana San Martino (Collesalvetti, Livorno) is an important element for the knowledge of the transition between Late Bronze age and Iron age in Italy. This thesis is the first attempt to place the site in both its temporal and cultural context through the analysis of some of the most significant tombs.
