The aim of this study is to project a system consisting in Key Performance Iindicator, that permits the monitoring of the performance and the critical object not only about the considered company, Manifatture Sigaro Toscano S.p.A. but also about its distribution provider, Logista Italia S.p.A..
During this year the partnership between the two companies has changed from Continuous Replenishment to Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment, for this reason it has become necessary to define the right service levels.
The first step was to analyze the supply chain in Italy to learn much more about the logic distribution’s process, then it was needed to create the infrastructure to collect and to elaborate the data. The results obtained of the analysis of the Key Performance Indicator shows a trend in line with the targets and they enphasise the advantages and the performances of the collaboration Producer/Provider.
