Abstract (Inglese)
Abstract (Italiano)
I defined a regular recursive subdivision of the planar space to generate
geometric tileable patterns that can be 3D printed. The patterns are simulated to evaluate
their mechanical response when loaded. The outcome is a library of patterns to assemble for
creating surface tessellations for the direct design of mechanical Metamaterials.
