Il seguente elaborato tratta dell'adattamento delle opere teatrali di William Shakespeare per bambini mediante la traduzione e l'analisi di due libri: Illustrated Stories from Shakespeare (Usborne) e di Tales from Shakespeare (Walker Books Company). Sono presentate dunque le strategie del processo di adattamento e in seguito quelle di traduzione di quest'ultimo.
This dissertation focuses on the adaptation of William Shakespeare's plays for children through the analysis and translation of two books: Illustrated Stories from Shakespeare (Usborne) and Tales from Shakespeare (Walker Books Company). Furthermore strategies for the process of adaptation and translation are presented and disussed.
