La tesi propone una comparazione, attraverso l'analisi testuale, fra i racconti di Primo Levi appartenenti alle raccolte Storie naturali e Vizio di forma e le novelle bulgakoviane Cuore di cane e Uova fatali. L'indagine è volta a mettere in luce il diverso modo in cui i due autori utilizzano il genere fantascientifico per parlare delle proprio tempo e della propria società. In particolare si sottolinea l'importanza per la poetica leviana della memoria concentrazionaria e dei rischi legati alla contemporanea tecnologizzata; per quanto riguarda Bulgakov, invece, vengono messe in rilievo le problematiche legate al nuovo regime sovietico e i possibili rischi connessi ad un uso improprio e poco attento della scienza.



The thesis proposes a comparison, through textual analysis, between the stories of Primo Levi belonging to the collections Storie naturali and Vizio di forma and the Bulgakov's novels Cuore di cane and Uova fatali. The survey aims to highlight the different ways in which the two authors use the science fiction to talk about their time and their society. In particular it emphasizes the importance for the Primo Levi's poetics of the concentration memory and the risks related to the contemporary technology; in Bulgakov, instead, the thesis analyzes the problems linked to the new Soviet regime and the possible risks associated with improper and careless use of science are highlighted.
