La tesi propone di analizzare le postazioni militari della Seconda Guerra Mondiale situate nel settore occidentale della Linea Gotica, nell'area delle Alpi Apuane versiliesi, tra i comuni di Stazzema e Camaiore. Tali postazioni, rinvenute e documentate durante le ricognizioni archeologiche condotte dal laboratorio MAPPA dell'Università di Pisa tra il 2021 e il 2022, verranno studiate con particolare attenzione alla loro struttura e distribuzione spaziale, considerando anche il rapporto con l’ambiente circostante e con le strutture civili presenti nell'area.

This thesis aims to examine the World War II military installations located in the western sector of the Gothic Line, within the area of the Versilian Apuan Alps, between the municipalities of Stazzema and Camaiore. These installations, identified and documented during archaeological surveys conducted by the MAPPA laboratory at the University of Pisa between 2021 and 2022, will be analyzed with a particular focus on their structural characteristics and spatial distribution, with further consideration of their relationship to the surrounding environment and the existing civilian infrastructure in the region.
