Summary
In this thesis work, a novel algorithm is proposed to locate the target in a 2-D discrete
space, using orthogonal waveforms. The study defines the baseline for the application of adaptive sensing to the MIMO radar. The thesis is organized as follows. Chapter 1 is a short introduction on MIMO radar. In Chapter 2, the concept of adaptive sensing is defined. In Chapter 3, the state of the art of the widely distributed MIMO radar is presented. Chapter 4 presents the scenario for simulation. Chapter 5 describes the algorithm used for the simulation and the obtained results. Chapter 6 describes the baseline for the application of adaptive sensing in the MIMO radar. Chapter 7 draws the final conclusions and presents some ideas for future work.
