Abstract (Inglese)
Abstract (Italiano)
Starting from the intuition that semantic relationships among words are usually measured by vectors and space-closeness we decided to see if language and semantic relationships among words could also be modelled through Network Science tools, in particular through Textual Forma Mentis Networks, taking words as nodes and semantic information as links and performing some network science measurements together with sentiment analysis and a bit of language processing on a textual dataset about addiction taken from Reddit, to see if we could successfully model discourse and mindsets of people discussing online about this specific topic
