Summary
The aim of the thesis was to develop an computational model for describing and predicting hydrogels viscoelastic properties in order to study cell mechanotransduction. Reaction-diffusion and mechanical models were optimized with experimental data performed on Agarose-Hyaluronic Acid hydrogels. The proof of concept was to identify the adequate concentration conditions of the hydrogel materials, to analyse how Adipose-derived stem cell (ADSCs) differently response to various substrate conformations.
