La tesi, di tipo sperimentale, è incentrata sul trattamento della malattia di Behcet con farmaci biologici: nel primo capitolo dell'elaborato vengono descritte le caratteristiche principali della malattia di Behcet dal punto di vista sia epidemiologico che clinico, soffermandosi successivamente anche sulla diagnosi e sul trattamento.
Nella seconda parte, invece, l'attenzione è rivolta all'efficacia dei farmaci biologici anti-TNF nel trattamento della malattia: lo studio è stato condotto su una casistica monocentrica di pazienti, analizzando successivamente i dati estrapolati dalle loro cartelle cliniche.

The experimental thesis focuses on the treatment of Behcet’s disease with biological drugs: the first chapter of the paper describes the main features of Behcet’s disease both epidemiologically and clinically, then also focusing on diagnosis and treatment.
In the second part, instead, the focus is on the effectiveness of biological anti-TNF drugs in the treatment of the disease: the study was conducted on a single-center case study of patients, subsequently analyzing the data extracted from their medical records.
