Summary
questo progetto di tesi sperimentale è consistito nello studio delle proprietà chirottiche (dicroismo circolare e luminescenza circolarmente polarizzata) di molecole organiche chirali coniugate in forma di films sottili, prodotti utilizzando la tecnica chiamata spin coating. per una delle molecole studiate è stata affrontata anche la sintesi, utilizzando prevalentemente reazioni di cross-coupling fondate sull'utilizzo di catalizzatori a base di palladio.
this experimental thesis project consisted in the study of chiroptical properties (circular dichroism, circularly polarized luminescence) of organic chiral conjugated molecules in thin films, produced by spin coating technique. for one of these studied molecules, the synthesis was also executed, using principally cross-coupling reactions founded on the presence of palladium-based catalysts.
