La seguente tesi si divide in due parti: nella prima ho esplorato la letteratura per l'infanzia da un punto di vista critico, tratteggiandone la breve storia ed evidenziandone i punti salienti, dal rapporto con l'adulto all'importanza della lettura nello sviluppo del bambino. Nella seconda parte ho parlato della traduzione in questo ambito, analizzandone le caratteristiche con riferimento ai due testi che ho tradotto.
This MA thesis is divided into two sections: in the first one I explored the field of children's literature from a critical point of view, outlining its short history and emphasizing its peculiarities, such as the relationship with the adult, and the importance of reading during the child's growth. In the second section I focused on the translation of books for children, analysing its characteritics in reference to the texts I have translated.
