Summary
La presente tesi analizza il potenziale educativo e didattico della narrazione interculturale nella scuola primaria. Partendo da un solido impianto teorico, fondato sui contributi di autori quali Bruner, Cambi, Demetrio, Favaro e Santerini, l’indagine si concentra sul ruolo di fiabe e favole come strumenti capaci di promuovere nei bambini la riflessione su valori fondamentali quali identità, diversità e inclusione. La ricerca si è sviluppata attraverso una metodologia qualitativa, con l’impiego della ricerca-azione secondo le prospettive di Elliott, Giordan e Scurati, avvalendosi in particolare dell’osservazione partecipata per raccogliere dati, esperienze e riflessioni. I risultati mostrano come l’incontro con narrazioni provenienti da culture diverse favorisca atteggiamenti di apertura, empatia e curiosità verso l’altro. Le conclusioni confermano l’efficacia della narrazione interculturale come dispositivo pedagogico utile alla costruzione di una cittadinanza attiva e consapevole, contribuendo allo sviluppo di una scuola realmente inclusiva e attenta alla pluralità culturale.
This thesis explores the educational and didactic potential of intercultural storytelling in primary school. Based on a solid theoretical framework grounded in the contributions of authors such as Bruner, Cambi, Demetrio, Favaro, and Santerini, the research focuses on the role of fairy tales and fables as tools capable of fostering children's reflection on key values such as identity, diversity, and inclusion. The study was conducted using a qualitative methodology, employing action research according to the perspectives of Elliott, Giordan, and Scurati, with a particular emphasis on participant observation to collect data, experiences, and reflections. The results show that encountering narratives from different cultures encourages attitudes of openness, empathy, and curiosity towards others. The conclusions confirm the effectiveness of intercultural narration as a pedagogical tool that contributes to the development of active and conscious citizenship, supporting the creation of a truly inclusive school attentive to cultural diversity.
