Summary
Analysis of polonium evaporation mechanism from the Lead-Bismuth Eutectic mixture by means of the CFD code ANSYS.
The computer simulation implements input data coming from the laboratory's experiments: the aim of the work is reproducing the empirical experience simulating a multicomponent multiphase flow between the polonium-argon gas and the liquid polonium dissolved in LBE liquid. Its purpose is to verify the accumulated experience both in the evaporation of polonium and in the tuning of the Ansys parameters, turbulence models or mesh quality.
