Nel presente lavoro di tesi si indaga sulla figura di Giorgio Bassani come redattore di due periodici letterari: «Botteghe Oscure» e «Paragone-Letteratura». Importante personalità del Novecento letterario, questo studio ha lo scopo di mettere in luce il suo lavoro da redattore svolto tra il 1948 e il 1970. Attraverso lo scambio di epistole inedite con Mario Luzi - trascritte e spiegate - si è indagato il suo modus operandi. Le lettere inedite ricevute da Carlo Cassola danno un'importante notizia: Taglio del bosco di Cassola è stato affidato alla direttrice della rivista Paragone da Bassani. Dunque, è in parte merito suo se nel 1950 il racconto è stato pubblicato, riscuotendo successo.



This thesis work investigates the figure of Giorgio Bassani as editor of two literary periodicals: «Botteghe Oscure» and «Paragone-Letteratura». Important personality of the literary twentieth century, this work aims to highlight the work as an editor carried out between 1948 and 1970. Through the exchange of unpublished letters with Mario Luzi - transcribed and explained - it was possible to investigate the his modus operandi. The unpublished letters received by Carlo Cassola give important news: cutting of the Cassola forest has been entrusted to the director of the magazine Paragone by Bassani. Therefore, it is partly thanks to him that in 1950 the story was published, enjoying success.
