La presente tesi si propone di analizzare la terminologia utilizzata nell'ambito dell'acquisizione linguistica nei bambini. A tal fine, sono stati tradotti in italiano i principali capitoli del saggio di Christina Kauschke "Kindlicher Spracherwerb im Deutschen. Verläufe, Forschungsmethoden, Erklärungsansätze", in cui vengono presentate dettagliatamente le fasi fondamentali che i bambini tedeschi percorrono per apprendere la loro lingua madre. Dal momento che tale tematica appartiene alle discipline della linguistica e della psicologia, l'elaborato include un'analisi linguistica comparativa tra il testo originale tedesco e la traduzione italiana, un approfondimento delle espressioni linguistiche che hanno generato particolari problemi di resa durante il processo traduttivo, ed un glossario, sviluppato al fine di supportare l'interpretazione dei termini specialistici durante l'attività traduttiva e durante la lettura del testo da parte di un pubblico non esperto nel settore.

The present thesis aims to analyse the terminology used in the field of language acquisition in children. Therefore, it includes: a translation into Italian of the main chapters of Christina Kauschke's essay "Kindlicher Spracherwerb im Deutschen. Verläufe, Forschungsmethoden, Erklärungsansätze", which treat the fundamental stages that German children go through in order to learn their mother tongue; a comparative language analysis between the original German text and the Italian translation; a detailed study of the linguistic expressions that caused translation problems; and a glossary, developed to support the interpretation of technical terms belonging to the linguistics and psychology disciplines during the translation activity and during the reading of the text by a non-expert audience.
